Business Shouldn't Have to Take Over Your Life.
Hi, I'm Sarah K Braun!
I believe owning a business should be rewarding—not something that leaves you constantly overwhelmed, putting out fires, or wondering how you'll get everything done.
Small businesses can become harder to manage than they need to be. I've also learned that with the right systems, clear priorities, and a better understanding of the numbers, things can change for the better.
That's why I do this work.
MY JOURNEY
I've Been on Your Side of the Table.

I jumped into business early, learning firsthand what it takes to build and run a company. Like many small businesses, ours faced familiar challenges: unclear priorities, inconsistent processes, and too much knowledge living in people's heads rather than in documented systems.
Discovering Gino Wickman's Traction and Michael Gerber's The E-Myth Revisited changed how I thought about running a business. They helped me see that there are proven ways to build a business that doesn't depend on the owner doing everything.
My experience in business eventually led me to study accounting. Working with accounting and tax clients gave me an even closer look at the challenges business owners face. The questions often went beyond the books: What do the numbers mean? What needs to change? How can the business run more effectively?
I've continued to develop my expertise in accounting software, earning my QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and Xero certifications.
My experience in business, accounting, and operations eventually led me to consulting. Today, I help business owners connect the financial side of their business with the day-to-day work of running it.
HOW I THINK ABOUT BUSINESS
I Speak Both Accountant and Business.
Bookkeeping, business operations, and financial decisions aren't separate pieces of a puzzle. They affect one another.
A financial report can tell you where you've been, but understanding what to do next often requires looking at the whole business: the people, processes, priorities, and decisions that shape the results.
I'm naturally an Integrator—the person who brings ideas, people, and plans together and helps turn them into action. I work especially well with Visionaries who see the possibilities but want a partner to help organize the details, create structure, and keep things moving.
You may not need three more full-time people on your payroll. You may need the right support at the right stage of your business.
My goal is to help you build something that works—not just for your bottom line, but for you, your employees, and your customers.
That's where I come in.

BEYOND WORK
A Little More About Me
— outside of Work.
Outside of work, I enjoy designing and building things, woodworking, gardening, architecture, and dreaming up new business ideas. I love learning about business and personal growth, spending time with my husband and our two teenagers, and sharing life with our dachshunds.
I suppose I enjoy figuring out how things work—and finding ways to make them work better—whether that's a business process, a piece of furniture, or a new idea.
